Miyata 512 singlespeed road bike 59cm frame 700c wheels custom refurbished

This 1985 Miyata 512 is more than just a vintage road bike—it's a testament to the craftsmanship of an era. With its triple-butted Chromoly steel frame, this bike has been built to last, and its classic design will transport you back to a time when cycling was about the journey, not just the destination. It's been stripped down from its 1980s triathlon equipment and repurposed into a solid singlespeed. We speced a Shimano 18t freewheel for long term durability. The 42t chainring up front is a nice gear ration for most Portland streets. The Vintage Royal Gran Compe brakes and levers have been upgraded with modern tektro cartridge pads. Wheels are your OR8 hubs and 700c Weinmann V rims. Hard to knock out of true and light enough for spirited riding. Schwalbe Marathon tires are good for the urban experience. 

The black and yellow frame with vintage benotto cello tape and Specialized Turbo saddle keep the vintage vibe alive.
