The stays fit over your front hub axle. If your fork doesn't have rack or fender eyelets, this allows more portage without P-clips or other nonsense. 

Optimized for 700c wheels. It will look weird on a 26" ATB or smaller clearance 650b forks. Platform size 305x260mm. 28lb max capacity. Includes eyelets for lighting and things.
