Motobecane Grand Jubilee road bike 57cm French Swiss custom refurbished

A beautiful Motobecane grand jubilee road bike made upright with updated parts and hand built wheelset. 57cm Reynolds 531 frame and fork. Hand brazed lug work from French builders.  Original ideale mod. 80 saddle and French city bars. 

The notable upgrade work includes a Velo Orange BB with Soma Swiss bb adaptor cups and a Velo Orange French thread headset with alloy cups and fresh grease.

34t suntour freewheel for super low gearing. We used a shimano 600 long cage rear derailleur to work with the gigantic vintage freewheel. Original awesome Suntour downtube shifters. No need to replace them at this time  

brilliant red finish still has that showroom gloss. We polished and waxed it for more protection.

wheels: hand built with campag nuovo tipo freewheel hubs laced 3x to sun m13ii silver polished rims. Panaracer made the 700c x 30mm jack brown tires for Rivendell. 

Should fit riders in the 5'9" to 6'1" range. People with a longer femur length and wingspan may have this fit you too. It's best to come in to the shop to confirm with a test ride.
